Injection moulder Venture Plastics increases capacity

Custom injection moulder Venture Plastics Inc. has purchased two new Nissei presses to reflect the growing demand for its products.

One machine, a 197-ton robotic-automated press, will be installed this month [February] at the company’s headquarters in Newton Falls, Ohio. The other, a 123-ton model with a Yushin robot, is scheduled for delivery to the El Paso, Texas facility in March. Both presses use RJG process monitoring and control systems.

With these purchases, Venture Plastics will have 16 machines in El Paso and 19 in Newton Falls. The capacity of the printing machines ranges from 55 to 1,440 tons, the company announced in a press release.

The Newton Falls facility consists of two buildings, 67,000 square feet for molding and 25,000 square feet for storage and engineering. The El Paso facility is a 60,000 square meter site. The company employs 180 people and had sales of $ 35 million in 2019.

Venture Plastics serves markets such as consumer goods, large appliances, fuel supply, energy storage, solar, rail, automotive, medical and agricultural markets. The company also performs structural foam molding, overmolding, insert molding, and gas assisted molding, and offers a variety of secondary services.
