Venture Plastics adds two Nissei injection molding presses

Thermoplastics injection moulder Venture Plastics Inc. announces the purchase of two new Nissei injection molding presses to meet growing customer demand. The ISO / IATF 16949 certified full-service mold maker operates processing operations in Newton Falls, OH, and El Paso, TX.

A 123-ton Nissei press with a Yushin robot will be delivered to the El Paso plant in March 2021. The other machine – a 197-ton robotic-automated press – was shipped to the Newton Falls facility this month. Both presses will be equipped with RJG eDARTS for process control.

Venture Plastics now has a total of 16 machines in El Paso and 19 presses in Newton Falls with capacities ranging from 55 to 1,440 tons.

“Over the past several years, Venture Plastics has added equipment in El Paso and Newton Falls and added square feet to the Newton Falls facility to meet our growth goals,” said Steve Trapp, president of Venture Plastics. “Our consumer, large appliance, energy storage, solar, rail, fuel, medical and agricultural customers will benefit from the addition of these two Nissei machines.”

Venture Plastics’ Newton Falls facility has a total of 92,000 square feet in two facilities – 67,000 square feet for molding and 25,000 square feet for storage and engineering. There is also a 60,000 square meter injection molding facility in El Paso.

The company provides services to clients such as engineering, design and project management support, injection / structural foam molding, overmolding, insert molding, gas support molding, decorating, coating, assembling and welding.
