Wisconsin-based Redline Plastics is investing USD 6 million to expand the facility

Redline Plastics of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, is investing $ 6 million to expand its current manufacturing facility by 103,000 square feet.

Redline has started construction on the facility and expects completion to take place in August, according to an April 5 press release.

“We had been planning this expansion since construction began on the first half of the building in 2019, but we haven’t anticipated an expansion for at least a few years,” said Nick Murray, vice president of operations, in the press release. “We are fortunate to be in the position we are in and to continue investing in the region, our people and our customers.”

Founded in 1922 as Dow Canvas, the company recently moved to its 117,500-square-foot facility in Manitowoc, doubling the size of its previous facility.
